I built an elevator. I programmed it to go up and down when I tell it to. When I click the button for it to go up it goes up. When I click the button for it to go down it goes down. It took me two classes to build it. When I tell it to go on, I tell it to only go on for 35 and then I tell it to stop. I also made a button so when I click the button I have sound and a light going at the same time. I also made a button so when I click the button the elevator goes up then the sound plays then it waits a couple seconds then goes down and then I have a light flash 10 times.
One problem I had was I had to find out how to get the sound and light to go at the same time. How I had both the sound and the light go on at the same was I had to have the computer talk to both sound and light with the talkto command. How I figured how long for it to be on when it went up and down was that I experimented with different numbers until I got close to the number I needed. Then I went one by one until I got the exact number I needed.
