Hi! I am a student at Vina Danks Middle School. My name is Josue. I am attending the G.A.T.E program. I have been working on a Lego project. I chose to build a house. After it has been built we connected it to the computer. There I programmed the Lego "creation." The most difficult time was when it came to program the Lego construction. I had to figure out how it understood or what it understood. I had some help by the teacher. Another confusing thing was to be sure that the cords were in the right spot or place. I liked the challange it gave me. It was worth the weeks of hard work to see the great results. I learned a lot by this challange. What the house does is that it opens the garage door automatically. It opens because there is a light before the garage and a light sensor. When the car goes between the light and the light sensor, the light censor senses that the car is there so it sends a signal to the motor to open the garage door. It has an alarm system too. If the Lego man goes through the door the alarm is going to sound and red lights are going to blink. I had so much fun doing the project. Hope you like the next pictures.
