The scanner had taken us, Jyes, Megan, and Xavier, 1 day to build and another day to program it to take the paper in and to scan it. We had used Legos to build the scanner. It had 13 steps to making the scanner. We had used up one more day to program it to read the different colors. The scanner can get the paper to go through and it can scan it and determine it's colors, but it cannot draw the picture on the paper (or in our case the line). On the twenty-third of October of the year nineteen ninety-eight, we had tried to program the scanner to scan the picture and draw it in the computer, but the computer is not cooperating with us and it will not draw the picture into the program on the computer.
We had failed in making the scanner to work. This project has never been able to work, not in our school at least. This project actually works, but we don't know how program it to read what the scanner is scanning.
