We made a smart house that is able to open its garage, turn the satelite dish, and it's all controled by light sensors. When the light sensors detect the object an alarm goes off. If you have it detect both objects at the same time it will make both alarms go off at once. When the light sensor for the garage senses the car the garage door will open leting the car go in. The building part of the house was very simple, we had no problems at all trying to tell it what to do.
